What is RX Compounding?
Pharmacists have compounded medication since the profession began. Special flavorings, unique dosage forms, innovative delivery methods - using these tools and more, compounding pharmacists work with prescribers to fill a gap through customized solutions for specific patients.
Why would I want/need to have my prescription compound?
It all starts with a problem. If you need a specific medication, dosage form, or strength that is not commercially available then a compounded medication may solve that problem.
